Quadrans were low value bronze coins issued by the Romans worth 1/4 of an as. Quadrans were produced sporadically first during the Roman Republic and all the up until 161 AD. The quadran will sometimes have 3 dots distinguishing it from other coins meaning it was worth 3 unciae (View Image Below).
