MN Treasury is governed by vote from 13 or more Treasury Members on proposals to allocate funds or perform functions.
Each Treasury Member is required to vote for a proposal to pass with 70% required to pass a proposal.
MN Treasury has a Head Treasurer who is elected by popular vote by the Treasury Members and from the Treasury Members. One Treasury Member will serve as Head Treasurer.
The Head Treasurer plans, holds, and operates the meetings as well as carries out other Treasury Functions.
When applying to a Treasury, your application will go to the Head Treasurer first and will be brought before the Treasury Members for debate if a proposal to add a new Treasury Member is passed.
Funds are allocated from MN Treasury via a multi-signature wallet where transactions are submitted by the Head Treasurer and then approved by MN Treasury's Wallet Signers.
This is done to protect funds as well as give time to the allocation process so that better decisions can be made.
