Hitler comes to power in Germany and names himself supreme chanseller. After the devastating effect the Treaty of Versailles had on Germany and its people, Hitler began building his army, navy and air force. Europe began to feel war was inevitable and scrambled to sign peace treaties. Eventually Hitler took Poland and Britain entered the war. The US would not enter the war until Japan bombed Pearl Harbor enraging the public.
WW2 was a long drawn out conflict that cost many lives and had a devastating effect on humans worldwide.
